I loved the gradual phydical change, however the mind control was VERY hit-or-miss with me. I found the "do this for me" trigger to be effective, and the internal conflict samuel has, especially at the lingere shopping scene. But the forced change in sexual orientation irked me and i lost interest in the story after that point as I felt that the mind control was just being a deus-ex-machina at that point.
